The Guyana NRA is the official body responsible for all coordinated shooting related sports in Guyana.

Currently, there are three main areas that are active - Rifle, Hand Gun and Paint Ball.

Competitions are held throughout each year with sponsorship from the Guyana NRA and/or Private Enterprises.

As often as possible the Guyana NRA select teams to participate in International Competitions.
